MY COACHING METHOD
-
Introspection
The coaching engagement begins with several weeks of deep-diving conversations and journaling exercises to gain a new understanding of what you have been bringing to the table of life to date and how your actions have or have not been serving you. What can we honestly say and learn from past wins and losses, hopes and doubts, and mental and behavioral habits to gain clarity and confidence moving forward? These and many other questions will be explored in detail.
-
Implementation
Once we gain a solid narrative grasp on the past and the present, we begin cultivating new habits to enact desired changes. This is typically a time of pronounced emotional highs and lows; having an accountability partner to navigate the choppy waters of change is essential here for staying the course for the long haul.
-
Evaluation
In the closing weeks, we will refine the processes built in earlier stages of the coaching season, reflect on what has been succeeding or failing and why, and course correct as necessary. Throughout this and other stages, reading, exercises, and activities will be suggested at strategic moments to catalyze your ongoing development.
